Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Todays food diary

I thought i would write out my food diary today, a day where in my opinion i've been very active!!

Breakfast: Egg white oatmeal with strawberries & quark, almonds, an egg, coconut milk.

Lunch: Amino acids, 1/2  mayonnaise/curry sandwich

Lunch 2: Salad, mackerel, tuna & 3 crisp bread with spread

Snack: Quark mixed with natural yoghurt & funlight, sunflower seeds, almonds & prunes. 1/2 protein cookies & a vitamin well.

Dinner: Risotto with chicken and mushroom & salad

Night snack: Carrots, cauliflower, orange, 4 pieces dark chocolate & cottage cheese mixed with coconut milk & lots of salt and pepper (to make a dip.... i wanted hummus, but we had no chickpeas :( )

There might be a bowl of quark or casein pudding a little later, I'll see how i feel :)

**Remember that this is just 1 day and everyday i eat differently, so don't compare yourself to me. But this is just how a random day of my intake looks :)

  1. Your breakfast looks so, so good! I just can't get over it, haha! You always inspire me with your food pictures. I've also noticed that when I see a food picture online it doesn't really inspire me as much as yours do :)the pictures are just so 'perfect' almost not real. But your food pictures look good but also realistic which makes me want to try it.
    The pictures of you with the chocolate and carrot, you look so pretty and adorable in them :)
    Random question:have you tries frozen grapes. I've been really into them and eat them with yogurt and some fresh grapes. That way I don't know what kind of grape I'm eating ;) it's sounds weird that I like it but that shouldn't matter. :)
