Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Saturday's day of rest

First off i want to thank you all for the tips you gave me on how to feel better. Infact garlic and warm lemon water are my two best tips!! I have taken both garlic pills but also mixed garlic in with my dinner... and I'm feeling better already!
Also the amount of tea I've drank today is ridiculous!!! My whole family have commented on how different i am today, not my usual energetic self, my sister even commented i looked so pale and skinny? Wait what... going from looking strong and happy to pale and skinny in 24 hours. But that is exactly how i feel as well, haven't had my normal energy which i hate. But is also a good thing because i haven't even wanted to exercise or workout today :)
My parents have been away today but when they came home my mum had bought some treats for me which put in me in a super good mood :) Such a sweet thing.

^^Don't get triggered just because these items were 'sugar free'. I also eat lots of chocolate, infact my intake yesterday was pretty much 40% chocolate. Its about having a mix of both, so don't get caught up over just one picture :)
And it was my mum who had bought these for me anyway :) Who am i to say no?

My aunt also came by today as we were going to plan for our trip to the USA, hopefully next year. And what we are looking at doing is taking one of those trips where we visit different parts i.e L.A, Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Fransisco etc
It would be super duper amazing to do that as i've always wanted to visit that part of the U.S
Though i feel I've definitely got to get a job or some sort of income to help pay for this trip :)
Such an amazing thing to look forward to!
15 days of travel and sounds awesome to me :) A new experience and adventure.

Otherwise, this day has been spent looking at the clock... feeling like time passes by in milliseconds... Each minute feeling like 5.
I'm going to continue watching series and drinking tea, hoping i feel better tomorrow!
Though of course tomorrow will be a day of rest as well, but maybe getting some fresh air might be a good thing as well :)

Hope you've all had a lovely day :)

  1. I admire your positivity! It makes me want to keep going sometimes :) even though you're sick and in school you can put that aside and be in a good mood :)
I love it when my mom gets me something while shes out and I'm stuck at home. Food or nail polish, doesn't really matter. So sweet :)
Oh and to the anonymous who suggested reading 'life without Ed' by Jenni Schaefer I finished reading the book a couple of days ago and really liked it! Thank you for suggesting it. And I definitely recommend reading the book for both people with an ED and without :)

    1. I've learnt that thinking negative all the time doesnt lead to positivity... so instead i see the positives in life. However, when i begin thinking and acting negative... then you know something big is wrong. haha

  2. hey!! i love how there's a hot guy on the coke bottle... :)

  3. I am really happy you liked the book olivia!! :) i am so glad to know that i can help a little bit :) and yes, it is an excellent help book :) recommended!!

  4. I live so close to San Francisco!!
