During summer i told myself that i should stop using so many smileys and haha... but it didn't last long. It felt unnatural, for me... just reading blog posts with no emotion in them, where it's just words. It doesn't appeal to me at all. My way of getting my emotion across through my blog post, so that it's not just words on a screen is by putting different smileys and things :)
Though if i must admit, it's almost affecting my essays a little, haha. I've found that at times i just want to throw in a smiley to make it less formal or put in a haha in an email to a teacher? So maybe that's not a good thing, but otherwise my essays are actually really good. A/B standard, even if it may not seem so on my blog due to all the errors. Though that's just because i write my blog posts so quickly. Either at 6.30am or 9pm, or on the bus on my way home from school and i use my mobile which always results in grammar mistakes. At times you can't even understand what it was i wrote as there was so much auto correct! haha
I got a comment mentioning that maybe thinking more about how i write would be a good thing. You are absaloutly right!! I might not change my smileys, so if they bother you, I'm sorry. But when i can, i will think more about my spelling. Though i'm sure a few spelling mistakes will still be made as well as some random letter slipping into a word or replacing another letter ;) But just take that with a little pinch of salt, see it as a charm of mine.
Its like baked goods, sure you can buy the mixture where you just add egg and water and the brownies turn out great. Or you could make your own brownies from scratch and even if they don't turn out great, there is motivation and love behind the brownies :)
