Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Answers part 2

Are you easy to live with?
I think i am, but that's because everything i do suits me :) haha. But i do think about others and help out around the house as much as possible and really... i mainly keep to my room so its not like I'm annoying or hard to live with. But my sister company, so when its just me and her she always want us both to sit in the living room or study together at the kitchen table etc etc... but i mean if you aren't in need of  conversation or company all the time, then I'm easy to live with :)

Do you like meeting new people?

Yeah i do :) I love learning new things about people as well, however im not always the first person to start a conversation.

Do you have a bike?

No... i don't really like cycling either... though i do admit, in summer it would be nice to have a bike here in Sweden :)

Have you ever splashed around and get wet in a fountain when it's hot? So fun!

No ;) I'm guessing fountains and that are more common where you live, (USA, right?:)) Here in Sweden or in Ireland there aren't so many fountains, and not ones you can go in anyway!

Do you like avocado?

Sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. When i was younger i hated avocado, but then i learnt to like it and had periods where i liked it and when i didn't. Right now I'm in a phase where i don't really like avocado so much.

What is your favorite and least favorite fruit and vegetable?

I haven't tried all fruits and vegetables from what i have tried, mushroom is my lest favourite vegetable and fruit it would be a pichuberry.

How often do you take a bath?

We don't have a bath at home, so not often :)

How often do you wear nail polish?

Not so often.... nail polish never lasts more than 1/2 a day for me and then i go around 2 weeks with just  bits of nail polish on, so its easier to just not wear it. Unless I'm going somewhere fancy or feel i want to add that extra touch!

What book are you reading?

I'm not reading a book at the moment, just these 4 short stories for my English class.

What's your favorite animal?

It would have to be a dog :) But i think hedgehogs are super cute and all small, fluffy animals really!

What do you want for your birthday/Christmas/New Years?

Top of my list is a new computer - just for school. As the one i have is so hard to carry with me, but i need a computer for school... so not sure if i will try to buy myself one or wait until the end of November and hope that i get a computer. haha
Otherwise, there isn't so much. I mean i wouldn't say no to vouchers for clothes stores or questbars or a  box of Celsius drinks :) But I'm that age where now i  feel i just want money so that i can get some things i might want in the future, or for travelling or going out to eat etc

Tap water or bottled?
Tap water :) I actually avoid buying bottled water... i feel that if I'm going to buy a drink out i would rather buy a Celsius, Aloe Vera drink or a cola.

Red or Green apples?

Green :)

Do you like brunch or is it just at an awkward time?...My college does brunch on the weekends and I  hate it since I'm an early riser and like breakfast.

I love brunch :) But I'm an early riser as well so i always eat breakfast before hand anyway, though a smaller breakfast than usual so that i can eat extra at the brunch.

Do you like beets?

Beetroots? Yes i love them. Ive made beetroot burgers before, super delicious :)

Every have a cake pop?? if not I recommend them!! There soooo good :p

I LOOOVEE them! I wanted to make them a few weeks ago but we didn't have butter at home and i was too tired to go to the shop to get some, haha!

Does Sweden have proms?? or the Swedish equivalent of one?

Yes, when you're 15/16, before you go to gymnasium you usually go to a prom. Though I've never been to one.

  1. In Russia there are a number of fountains in parks usually. So when it's hot some people (usually teenagers with a group of friends)just splash around. In USA you don't see many fountains, at least where I live;)
I love it when you answer random questions! :)
