Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Lunch: Home made bread with spread & tuna and mackerel. & 1 egg

Snack: Lots of fruit... something like.... 2 nectarines, 1,5 grapefruit, 1 orange & some watermelon slices

Dinner: 9 pieces sushi
Dessert: 1 apple & some grapefruit

Snack: Egg cake with quark, almonds, sunflower seeds, strawberry jam & coconut milk. & 1/2 grapefruit. I mean protein cookie ;) hahah (dont know why i wrote grapefruit, i guess i was thinking of fruit?!)

  1. Only 9 pices of sushi? I always eat 15-20 haha ;) Love sushi <3

    1. I just wonder how you are able to stop? ;) haha

    2. OMG I love sushi so much! I too eat like 20 pieces (and a small salad), but I still need dessert too in order to feel satisfied! I exercise a lot so I need it to maintain my weight :)

    3. Trust me, i could have eaten 15-20 pieces but it was super expensive... just 5 sushi cost around 10 euro. So i took a 9 piece ;) But i was still hungry so i went to take some fruit after :)
Whenever i make sushi at home (which it was more often!) i eat like 2 rolls ;)

    4. Ooh yeah, the prize. The only bad thing about sushi!! ;) I hate buying it myself because of it, and I also do like you, not buy that much. But when my parents pay.. A whole other story, haha ;)

  2. As a university student i cant eat much sushi because of the cost, but oh man does it taste good! ^_^

    1. I love it!! Wish i could eat it more often, but of course... it costs :(

  3. Wow, that's expensive! Here you can get five pieces of (very good) sushi for 2-3 Euros . . . apparently sushi is the one cheap thing in Vancouver.

    1. If it wasnt for the price i would have eaten more :) Some places you can get like 12 pieces for 10 euro... but at the spa it was extra expensive - which sucks as you've already paid so much just to be there! haha

  4. Kind of like at the airport: you pay alot for your plane ticket and the food in the airport is still super expensive!! :)
