My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Breakfast for lunch

When it came to lunch time all i was craving was nuts, yoghurt, quark and egg sandwiches... so that was exactly what i made!!!

5 minute microwave bread topped with spread and egg. A bowl of quark and cottage cheese with a mix of nuts, seeds and cereal. A pear. And afterwards, salted nuts and an Aloe Vera drink :) :) Can it get better than this? Not today anyway :) Breakfast for lunch is the best thing i know :)

Today is also my last  day summer holiday!!! O_O And im going to spend the rest of the day watching Desperate Housewives as i feel that that is what i need today :) :)

  1. Hey you eat the yolks!! In the past you used to only eat the whites....another sign of further recovery? ;)
    Anyways, your lunch looks delicious!

    1. I do eat the yolks ;) It all depends what i feel like.... if i eat say 2-4 eggs that i might just eat 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites, or something like that... it also depends whether i want the egg yolks or not :) I hate runny yolks, so i always need them hardboiled!! :)
      P:S when i have the eggs on the side of the meal for breakfast or snacks i eat the whole egg :)

    2. And also to mention... i am fully healthy. There is no more 'recovery' or further recovery... I eat what my body wants, and even if i didnt eat the yolks that wouldnt necessarily make me have an eating disorder. Its like saying that everyone who is a vegan has an ED, which isnt the case...
      I just felt i wanted to clarify that :)

    1. Its a mix of potatoe fiber, psyllium seeds, eggs & milk :) Though dont know the measurements... haha.

    2. Yeah I thought you don´t :D But it´s basically starch, liquid and something to bind it ;) Thanks!

    3. Hahah yeah, pretty much :) It doesnt become too liquid, just enough so that it sort of holds together on the plate and then into the microwave for 5-8 minutes (Ohhh and season it!!! Otherwise it doesnt taste anything at all!)

  4. Breakfast for lunch can be great. But usually what happens is you get sick of breakfast food and eat something more lunchy/dinnery the next day for breakfast. That's happened to me before ;)
    What's your opinion on quark? What does it taste like? I googled it but just wanted to see what you have to say as you have it quite often :)

    1. Hahah thats true, though i do love my normal lunches so this was just a once off... anyway ill be eating lunch in school the next few months anyway :)
      I LOVE quark :) Its a sort of sour yoghurt taste but i mix it with Funlight or yoghurt or cottage cheese and cinnamon and its delicious. Alot more filling than jsut yoghurt!
