Life without Anorexia

My motto is

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Beauty hacks

I am the type of person who doesnt spend alot of money on beauty products or clothes... my make up usually lasts longer than it should and moisturisers, conditioners and face masks arent top of my priority list... though they really should be. I had a period when i was sick when i began taking more care of my skin and hair as i felt so ugly and thought that taking care of myself would make me feel better.... though the only way that made my skin and hair better was better nourishment. But since then, the whole taking care of my skin and hair has gone down hill... im embarrassed to admit that as a girl ;) I like to tell my mum that i am the way i am i.e weight lifting, act more like a guy than a girl at times because she thought that i was a boy until the moment i was born.... ;) hahahah Wishful thinking, So i behave like a guy 50% of the time. Or thats what i think anyway!!

But recently my focus has been more on taking care of my skin and hair because well... Thats part of being healthy as well! I have nutrition and exercise down, but the rest counts as well!! And instead of spending money on products which i will never use up i have used home remedies.

Such as sugar and oil as a scrub, or coffee grounds. Milk as a sort of exfoliator. Ive used egg yolks and oil in my hair which has helped alot aswell as leaving conditioner in my hair for c.a 30-50 minutes as my hair is so dry!

Its not always necessary to have super expensive products, though they do work i guess :) But i saw this ingfographic and thought it was very useful for myself :) And maybe others will like it!
