Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

  1. I'm going to ask my dietician whether she can include more popcorn into my food plan, because looking at that bowl of popcorn makes me really crave it :) aha

    1. Haha yeah... if you compare to 2012 you see a big difference, but from 2013 onwards, then theres no point comparing because everyday is different. As i grow and progress i need more food :)

  5. Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels like a bottomless pit some days!! When its on a rest day, its an even worse feeling, but knowing I'm not alone totally helps me get rid of the guilt I still sometimes feel for eating like a pig, even when I'm not planning on working out much that day! THANK YOU!

    1. I think that feeling is very uncommon for people, but it shouldnt be. I always seem to eat more on restdays if im not out doing things all day i.e out with friends. But i see it just as extra energy to help my body recover and rest up :) Exercise shouldnt be to compensate or just to burn calories. Its then that you can start getting guilty feelings!

  7. Not to be criticizing but isn't microwaved food bad for you since it kills all the nutrients because of its heat? Especially milk loses all its vitamin B-12 and the radiation is supposed to have negative effects on your body... idk what do you think about that?

    2. You're right microwave food isnt that great, my mum is constantly telling me to not use it... but well... its easy ;) I do try to avoid using it and heat veggies with hot water, bake/fry food, make oatmeal in the pot etc but a few foods its easier to just put in the microwave.
I dont think so much about it, i dont like to worry or stress aboutw hat i see 'unnecessary' thing :)
