Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Breakfast time!!

Here in Sweden its a beautiful Saturday morning and ive just finished eating breakfast (which today was yet another sweet egg cake ;) & toppings & 2 crisp bread with avocado and a sugar free Nobe Aloe Vera drink! Mmmmm :)

^My camera didnt seem to want to take any good pictures today, so they are all a little blurry :/

Ive got asked about writing more personal posts and food diaries... well, the reason i havent posted so much personal posts is that i amnt doing so much.
 Im meeting friends.
Spending time at home and with my sister.
Going for walks
Going to the gym
Eating HUGE amounts.
 Lying on the balcony.
 Listening to podcasts.
Worrying about school that starts soon.
Hoping and wishing that i can run the 10km in 3 weeks time.
Drinking lots of coffee.
Wanting to move out.
Wanting to earn lots of my own money
And feels like alot of waiting, waiting and waiting. Plus alot of thinking, thinking and a bit of anxiety.

^^So yeah, not much is happening and i feel i dont have so much to say about myself and personal posts at the moment ;)

  1. So... I was thinking, since I hate where I am living at the moment and just want to move to Europe, we can buy an apartment together in Sweden, okay? You can make the food, and I'll do the cleaning (; ahah if only!
Serious question - did you ever go through a time where your hunger just became huge? Like I am hungry all the time, even if I've just finished a meal. I had my snack this afternoon, then was SO hungry I couldn't think straight only an hour later so had to have another snack, and it's an hour later and I am so hungry already! All I can think about is dinner! It's crazy!

    1. Hahah, please do come to Sweden :):) Ill be making raw food bars and pancakes and we can eat quark, fruit salads and dark chocolate :) :)
You could eb going through a phase of extreme hunger, i went through that phase as well.. and it lasts anything from days to weeks. For some they like to just eat everything and anything during that phase... as that is what your body needs. Or you try to stick to your meal plan and this phase will pass... but i think that if you feel that you can handle it, then eat every hour if thats what your body says it needs.
I still have days where no amount of food can fill me up and i seriously eat every hour. And then i wonder if something is wrong with me, why am i so hungry. But thats just how the body works... so dont worry about it too much. Eat that extra today, tomorrow and the days you need it :)
