Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Beach day

This morning my sister and I both headed to our seperate gyms where we did our workouts and both came home within 10 minutes of each other and ate lunch together before we decided we should head out to spend some time in the sun.

My hormones are everywhere at the moment so 1) all i can think about is food. And i kept opening and closing the fridge & 2) i couldnt make up my mind if i wanted to go or not... i felt too warm and the heat was making me tired, but im glad i went!

We first had to walk 30 minutes to the bus station and then walk another while until we came to the beach. We lay our blanket down and the first thing i did was begin to eat, haha!!!, Fruit, nuts and eggs :) Perfect snacks to bring with you!

As we got to the beach we didnt stay so long but it was enough to get a bit of colour anyway :)

Now its time to refill with lots of water and take a cold shower ;)

How have you spent your day? :)

  1. That sound like a nice day, except for the hormones haha ;)
Today I got home from our summer house. Feeling tired from the trip and getting up so early. And now I have to unpack and pack again since I'm going on another trip to somewhere near New York city (not really sure, haha! Somewhere in the country) in ten hours! So not getting much sleep tonight. Maybe on the plane, though I find it hard to sleep on planes.
And to answer the question in one of your previous posts. I'm not sure. It depends. It can be really nice to watch a movie with someone, but that way you have to think about the other person you can't just pause the movie and go for a walk.
    Have a nice evening :)
