Life without Anorexia

My motto is

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Testing my running skills

Its been a while since ive felt like i really wanted to run... not powerwalk, do intervals or half run-half walk... but actually just run a long distance... Or long, for not having run lots the past while anyway ;)

At the moment my lulngs are no co operating with me... it feels like i have a belt around my legs, stopping me from breathing properly. This of course doesnt make running easier, but i know that i can still run, its jsut that its harder as neither my lungs or legs are getting the oxygen they need.

The first few km's are always the worst... my lungs are gasping for air and my legs feels like logs... but at the same time there is a sort of freedom in running, even if i have to slow down, i still love it. I kept reminding myself of my tattoo on my neck: Just Breathe because that is exactly what i had to do.

I was running for the sake of running, because i love it. So i dont know how far, fast or long i ran. But i dont need to know that, not every run needs to tacked in an app or need to know exactly how fast or long you ran .That can take the enjoyment out of it.

I finished with some intervals in some stairs... Burns after running!!! XD





The sun has finally come out today, so ill make sure to spend some mroe time out in the sun today :)
