Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

Midsummer

As alot of you want to know more about Sweden and Swedens culture now is the perfect time. Midsummer is this Friday and it's a pretty big celebration here in Sweden.  Also in other Nordic countries. ... Germany aswell i think?

Midusmmer in Sweden is one of the most important holiday in Sweden and is celebrated by most people here.
To celebrate here in Sweden we put flowers in our hair, dance around a may pole, eat a typical swedish midsummer lunch ( salmon, egg, potatoe, pickled herring, this cheese pie type thing etc) and also many take the chance to drink lots of midsummer!!

Midsummer is celebrated on Friday between 19th-25th of June! Why we celebrate, well thats a long history which i dont know alot about. But i know it has something to do with Christianity, summer solstice & evil spirits and witchs - hence why in some countries they light bonfires on Midsummer. (In sweden we do that on Valborg...30th April)
