Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

ASK ME!!!

If you have any questions NOWS THE TIME TO ASK :)
Im pretty open about answering the most things, so can be any type of questions - even if ive answered them before. Or completely random questions like whether i sleep with socks on or not? :)
Or Have i evers, or would i rather.....Those are always fun and you get to know more about me, if thats what you want anyway!!! :)

So, feel free to ask about anything.... Doesnt have to be about me`? Can be questions like, is the sky really blue? Though dont expect a completly 100% true answer to those types of questions, you might need to do some research as well!!! ^_^

^^My delicious birthday cake i made last year!!!

  5. maybe very personal and complicated to answer but i think its rather relevant for those suffering/recovering from ed so; how did your ed affect your relationship with your family and friends during the illness and afterwards in particular ? did you become closer to your family after recovering? maybe you have already done a post about it but thought id ask anyway :)

What would be the first thing you would do if your period stopped now? (Assuming you wouldn´t be pregnant :) )

  19. In recovery, does there ever come a point where you finally feel like people aren't "watching" you all the time?? I feel like every time I'm out or with others, people are watching me like a hawk to see what/if I'll eat! I hate feeling "on display!!"

  20. Did you have any obsessions and rituals when you had your ED?? (to do with food and exercise maybe... but also other things like cleaning, touching things, counting... ) :)
hope it isn't too personal but i understand if you prefer not talking about it; it can be a bit embarrassing... :) thank you for everything!!

  21. Hey Izzy. I just came by to tell you that i've been following you for... since Dezember 2011 i think? Back then i started recovering and made it in 12 month(physically) and mentally in about 20 months ON MY OWN. (they said i was strong enough to sort it out without an expensive therapist). In this time i went back up the 12kg i had lost. I haven't weighed myself sind september 2012. I'm in an relationship, and this man will soon be my fiance. Studying is great right now and my future looks bright.
You gave me so much strenght on so many days. I read your blog every day back then.
I just wanted to thank you.
You still follow me on instagram. It's zinkari. It's nice you can see my happy life now.
You helped so damn much and i'm greatful.

Today in my lesson (microbiology) we talked about cyctic fibrosis and the bacteria that might be a problem. And every time my professor was saying things like "people with cf won't get old"... it thought of how tough and healthy you are. You have such a pretty life. Enjoy every day!
I'm a biotechnologist - i wish i could work sth out against cf one day....

    Greets,
    Christine
