Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

Answers Part 3

Opinion on cats? (Apparently you're more of a dog person, that's why I find this fascinating!) :D
Im not much of a cat person... i always find them so uncertain, like one second they can be so cute and the next second their claws are out and attacking you... i guess the same things can be said for dogs, but because ive grown up with dogs i have more of an understanding of dogs. I can see whether they are aggressive or not, whether they will attack. But also im not scared of that.

Ive been scratched several times by different cats, so thats why im not much of a cat lover... though they are cute :)

Weirdest thing to ever make you cry was...?

 Onions? ^_^ hahaha.

I am not the type of person to cry... infact i have only ever cried to one film - and ive seed it 3 timse and each time ive cried. haah. The film is called My dog skip, and in the film the boy hits his dog really hard and starts shouting at the dog and the dog runs away....Yup, that made me cry.
Otherwise i dont think i cry to much else... not even happy tears.

The worst movie you've seen ?(bwahhahaa forcing some negativity out of you, sorry!!)

Ive seen alot of bad movies, but my problem is that i never remember any film names. And if they are bad, i am even less likely to remember them.

But films which i hate are these reallly cheesy, comedy and horribly made movies like American Pie, scary movies and even the High School Music films i didnt like ^_^

Have you ever met a celebrity?
Nope, or ive met somelike Z celebrity.. haha - someone from Eastenders (the program), but i dont even watch that program, it was my dad who saw the person and told us (my sister and I) to go up and get a picture!

What was your favourite kids' show (if you watched them as a child)?

We didnt actually have TV channels when we were younger, so whenever my dad was in England (he worked there some times) he would bring back loads of new films. So i watched alot of postman Pat, Pingu, Teletubbies etc

Oh oh, and what is your ultimate favourite at the gym?
My favourite about the gym is that it feels like my second home. This is my 3rd year at the same gym, so im like a regular there. The staff who work there know me, i talk with the other 'regulars' there. I can go there, put in my music and just forget everything in my head... whether its anxiety, stress, lots of happiness, sadness, anger, excitment etc... i just focus on what im doing. How my body moves...

Infact i dont stand there (when working) and look at how my body looks, more how it moves... sounds strange. Also, i can go to the gym during a really bad body image day and just sort of forget about that for a while. Instead do what i love doing best - and thats working out!!
And of course, i always leave feeling great!! I considered applying for a job there, and im sure i would have a high chance of getting it as i spend so much time at the gym anyway and know everything about it, anyway. But then i thought, i dont know how good it is to spend all my time at my gym, even if im working thhere 80% of the time... it would be better to get a job at another gym. To change things up a bit.. to not mix work and my workouts together!! haha

How about your favourite flower? :)
I like roses, sunflowers, tulips :) And of course Daisies :)

Did/do you have a stuffed animal that you have smuthered with love?

No... i was never the teddybear person. I was a very unemotional child... i guess i still am. Thats one of my weaknesses(?)/problems... i cant and dont show emotion - not so much anyway. I can smile, laugh, show happiness and anger, but otherwise im a pretty closed book.
I did however have loads of teddies which i used to play with... i had this big dog teddy bear that i loved and then i got a mini one which looked the same. So they became mother and daughter, and i put make up on them (i usd to cut my barbies hair and put make up on my teddy mears), but sometime i decided that the bigger dog wasnt a girl any more, so changed it to a him :) haha
Also i had these 2 HUGE (i.e adult size) teddy bears which just sort of sat in my room...
