Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Sunshine!

Today, its like ive completely forgotten that i have a blog! Not often that happens ;)
I guess i just dont have so much to say at the moment, thats how it is somedays! As i said this morning, today i finished school early! Which i love as today it has been aruond 25 degrees. So when i came home i put on my bikini and lay in the sun, studying for my test on Monday, and after that i ended up falling asleep in the sun!!! My mum woke me up, reminding me to turn around, otherwise i would be all tanned on my back, and not on my front!! haha
Thats what mums are for, right? ;)

And since then i havent done much, eaten the contents of the house.... or what is left on a Friday anyway ;) (we always do our big weekly shop on Fridays, so there is usually little left beforehand :))

This evening we have planned to go have a picnic, and it might even result in taking a swim! Though not sure if we are going or not, as its just getting later and colder :/

But for now, i am going to watch a film for my psychology homework ^_^ I love psychological films... haha, i guess its because ive been a little crazy before ;)
Mind thriller films are the best!

    1. Thank you :) Well i 'have to' watch the film, its called 'The Cube' from 1997. As i have to take notes and analyze the film, its not as much of an enjoyment as if i had chosen it myself.

  4. It doesnt always look that way ;) I bloat sometimes as well. Its just normal. There could be many reasons why you are bloating. If you are trying to gain weight, or have only just began recovery and eating more. Then bloating is very common. The closer you are to your goal weight, and the healthier and safer your body feels the less bloating. But its also about how your body reacts to certain food etc ;)
And dont worry, i bloat after meals as well.. somedays more, somedays less! Its normal

  7. Thanks for this post (and all your posts!). I really hope to put on a bikini this summer, and feel ok with it. You're really an inspiration, so I want to be an inspiration too. Also, I'm studying psychology this summer! Yay.
