Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Sunday sunshine, chocolate and acts of kindness

Sunday, the last day of the week! And today its mothersday here in Sweden! But as my mum is away - coming home this evening my sister and I will be making us all dinner to celebrate!

After breakfast i headed to the gym, and while i was there i had 2 guys compliment me and tell me that they saw how hard i was working and that i had made great progress!!! It felt awesome, gave me a little boost of confidence!
And was able to complete 3 full chin ups (from the ground, with no help!) Which ive never been able to do before... or i mean, ive been able to jump up, and do a few 'half' chin ups :) I love progress!!

And when i came home my sister had boiled eggs for me :) This small action really meant alot to me :) I love eating egg after my workouts, and i was actually thinking on the way home, i wish i had boiled some eggs before i left. So imagine my surprise and happiness when there were 2 waiting for me!!! :)

Since then ive been studying and reading out in the sun, also managed to fall asleep for half an hour or so ;) hah

On the way home from the gym, i had to go to the shop to buy some ingredients for dinner tonight and got cravings for chocolate!!! So of course had to buy some ;) Delicious! Chocolate is best when you really crave it and want it, just like now :)

  1. do you strecth before running? do you do a warm-up before strength training?

  2. No i usually stretch afterwards. And yeah i warm up before all my workouts, it depends what i do... either powerwalk, run or elliptical for c.a 10 minutes. Or i use lighter weights and do many reps, to warm up the muscle & maybe some burpees or jumping jacks :)
