Life without Anorexia

My motto is

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Night snacking

And because i know you love to see what i eat ( ;) hahaha, most probably not!) here is my night snack!!
   I know i often get questions about if i eat night snacks, and yes i do! Every night, anywhere from 90-30 minutes before i go to sleep :)

Today i had no quark left, which is my typical night snack, so instead i had to improvise and i mixed together chickpeas, peanut butter, vanilla PP, soya milk, oatmeal and egg whites and then i put it into a form and into the microwave for about 20 minutes!!! It turned out a little dry (too much oatmeal) but other delicious!!
  And i topped it with warm raspberries, applesauce, cottage cheese, more PB & a questbar on the side :)

And yes - Its ok to eat Carbohydrates during the evening, and even on restdays!!! :) Nourish your body, feed it properly :)

    1. Yeah i have a personal one, but i never uopdate it!! haha, its been weeeks... i keep thinking i should update, but never really do :)

  2. About how many calories do you have in a say if you don't mind my asking

    1. I dont count calories but im guessing somewhere between 2200-2600.. mor somedays, less others :)

  3. Peanut butter is my favourite at the moment, mostly on bread with jam on top too, but sometimes (aswell as on bread!) straight from the jar! Im loving the energy its giving me for my morning gym sessions, but also on rest days to support my body in healing.
    In addition to above, I really enjoy a bowl of shreddies and some chocolatly cereal too (such a big kid!)

    1. Peanut butter straight from the jar is super delicious!! Though almond butter is even better ;)
      i used to love chocolat-y breakfast cereals... i might have to buuy a box, and have some old child hood memories :)

  4. Yummy - but erm, what is quark:P

    1. Its sort of like yoghurt.... the translation is 'curd cheese'. Its thicker than yoghurt and can have a little sour taste, but i like adding cinnamon or funlight to it :) Its more filling than yoghurt!
