Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

My favourite way to start the day!

Today my first lesson doesnt start until 12.30pm, so im making use of this extra time and having a great morning! No rush or stress... can take my time. Sit and drink my coffee in peace, knowing that i have more than an hour until i need to go, and ive already been up for 2 hours!! :)

This morning i decided to start my day with a walk wtih Daisy!! Which by now, im sure you all know i love to do :) Wish i had more time for morning walks.

Todays breakfast consisted of egg white oatmeal, cottage cheese, raspberries, sunflower seeds, jam & PB. And added almond milk after wards!

Today my first 'lesson' is my english national speaking test, though im not so nervous about it. Its not something i can prepare for, and i know i can speak english properly. But still, just knowing that its a 'test' makes me nervous ;) hahah!

How are you spending your day?
What did you eat for breakfast? :)

  1. Hello Izzy. Please, could you tell me (maybe it's a stupid question) if the regular oat needs to be washed before cooking? In my country, the oatmeal is quite unusual breakfast, but I'm "addicted" to this mindfull warm food to start slowly the day. It help me to stay grouned since the morning.
Good luck for your test :)...but you had oatmeal for breakfast...than It will go well

    2. Thank you for the tip!!!
I start by marking that now it's two years that I'm maintaining my set-point weight. I have another question... I love stay active during the day (bike, yoga, walk...) and I train 3 times a week. But if I train like a beast, I will feel hungry like a beast... Have you got any suggestion for me?

    3. Thats great to hear :) Well if you are hungry, its important to eat!! When you exercise you need more energy, so dont be scared to eat :) && your metabolism increases when you exercise, so you become more hungry!!
