Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

My day!

How have i spent this day?
With lots of food!! hahah XD I guess thats what happens when i spend too much time at home. It feels like its Saturday or something, as i havent had school. Its a strange feeling ;)

After my long hours of studying i decided to take a break... which turned into the rest of the afternoon ;) But i have tomorrow to continue working anyway!

This afternoon while looking around in the pantry for something to eat, i came across popcorn kernals, and remember that we had a popcorn machine!!What better snack then popcorn? :)
For not alot of kernals, there came alot of popcorn!! (and i managed to eat 75% of that bowl ^_^ ) I like popcorn, though if im honest... Its not filling at all!!! Not if you have the same stomach size as me ;)
But also, we didnt have any salt left.... so just plain popcorn?
I tried giving Daisy some.. but she didnt like them!! haah.. so instead, i just threw them at her... (Does that count as animal abuse?? ^_^ )

Below is my popcorn making video!!!

Also, a few days ago i got an anonymous (i think?) asking me if i could make a video of stretches to do after running, and i have done that!! So that video will be up tomorrow :)
Infact, it was kind of fun to make the video ^_^ If you have any more video requests... maybe baking or cooking... or something, i might start making more of them!! (I prefer not talking in them, as i hate my voice in videos!!)

No plans for tomorrow, i guess ill just take the day as it comes :)

  1. Haha, awesome video. You look so cute!

  2. Hahaha, throwing popcorn around, it is somehow so you:D Btw i have never seen that kind of popcorn maker.

    1. Its a really old machine... its my step dads ;) It takes just 5 minutes or so to make popcorn :)

  3. Spending a whole day with food sounds like fun! Hahaha I laughed out loud when I imagined you throwing popcorn at your nonchalant dog...can't wait to see the stretching video:)

  4. Can you write a post about recovering from failing an exam or assignment? In high school I got straight As and A+s and I am at university on a scholarship, and of the first two assignments I have handed in I have barely passed one and failed the other. Thanks

    1. I am sorry you are struggling. ill see if i can find some information... ive never really failed a class or gotten an F warning, so i dont really know how it feels :( But ill see if i can write something :)

  5. yay you did the video i requested! perfect timing cause I just got home for a short run :) I think it may really help to recover! but I use runkeeper to track my run and it shows how many calories one burns which is triggering - do you know an app which does not do this? don't want to run to burn calories as i once did :( want to enjoy it :D

    1. Hmm, most apps show the calorie burn, but you should eb able to run it off i think? I use Mapmyrun, and it shows the calolrie burn, but its always wrong... it usually just shows 29calories, whether i walked 40 minutes or ran 90 minutes. Hahaha ;)
Otherwise what you can do is enter your weight and height differently, because then it wont show an accurate burn or mayeb try to see if you can turn it off?
