Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Everyday is a fresh start

Something which i dont understand is people who hate Mondays... I mean, sure going back to school after two days 'break' isnt always so appealing, but most of the time it doesnt bother me...  I see Monday as a new week, new chances. And instead of feeling bad, wanting to hide in bed all day why not get up and fight for your dreams... do something new, do something which scares you, have an adventure, do something which will bring you closer to your dreams, because i can promise you. Just sitting and wishing or just lying under the covers all day isnt going to make anything better, or make anything happen.
Instead sometimes its better to put on your warrior face and just get up and go!

Today a long day in school awaits me, with several hour of maths studying during and after school.... On Thursday i have my national maths test and after that i can let my brain stop thinking about maths for a little while anyway!!

Best way to start the day, and to fight for your goals/dreams?
A delicious breakfast ;) Today it was chocolate egg white oats (seriously delicious!), quark, strawberry jam, raspberries and added almond milk. & an egg and coffee!

Whats your favourite breakfast?

Do you have any ideas for good pre workout snacks to take with me to school or work? I usually have time to hit the gym after studies or work. And after the workout I´ll have dinner but something portable and easy to take to go :)
Have grat week! Thank you, love your blog :)

  4. I love oatmeal with Keso (cottage cheese)! I also take a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (I hate the taste!) in the morning to stay healthy ;D

    1. Cottage cheese on oatmeal is delicious :) My mum does that ... and she's tried getting me to do it before as well, and ive tried. But i dont like it at all, instead i use things like coconut oil and get my healthy fats through nuts and seeds and egg yolks ;)
