Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Pizza for dinner!!

From the title, im guessing you know what i ate for dinner?
I am not a huge fan of pizza, ive tried it several times at different places and i eat it if im offered at a friends house etc But it wouldnt be the first thing i choose to eat.
Yesterday my mum came home and had bought chickpea flour to me. And i decided to make something using that tonight... i was stuck in between a chicken pie - using chickpea flour in the base, or making pizzas...  And then i decided,  Well its Saturday. Lets make something special!!

Its the first time using the recipe and they turned out suppperr delicious!! I used cottage cheese as the cheese, and in one of the pizzas i added cottage cheese in the base - and the base turned out extra soft and fluffy :) Mmmm

They might not look so good, but they tasted good :)

What did you eat for dinner tonight? :)

  4. Oh my gosh - recipe please! I'm also going to try making a cauliflower pizza base in the near future. I keep hearing good things about "alternative bases" so I thought I would give it a shot!

  5. These pizzas look nomalicious! MUST HAVE THE RECIPE!!! I usually don't eat pizza, because I really never have cared for it much. But when I do have pizza I make my own, which is the best way to go. :D
I haven't had dinner yet, as it's only 4pm in the State I live in, but I'm hoping to make spelt spaghetti, marinera sauce, a huge salad, yams, and steamed cauliflower/carrots/broccoli/edamame. The rest of my family will probably put cheese on their pasta, but I'll most likely crumble up a vegan veggie burger in mine for extra protein. :]
