Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Home made dinner

I have to admit I have gotten alot better at making dinners recently :)

I feel i dont have the time to cook big dinner or to make anything fancy. I often just microwave vegetables, quorn products and if i have time make some bulgur or wholewheat pasta. But often my carbs come from beans, as i can just open a can of chickpeas or there are some left over sweet potatoe or quinoa from dinner...

But now im trying to take more time to make proper dinners... even if theyre just simple. But not just microwaving food!! hahah
It both tastes more delicious, but looks better and im sure its more healthy for me... even if frozen vegetables and quorn are healthy.. but when you make things frmo scratch, they're even better for you!

Tonight was fish baked in a coconut and tomatoe sauce & olives, sweet potatoe chunks and brocolli!! Delicious right? :)

What did you eat for dinner tonight? :)

    1. how often do you go to the grocery store?
    2. how much time do you think you spend preparing food?
Do you know what you want to eat before you cook it and how do you decide'?
Do you still see a treatment team?
I am glad that you can incorporate exercise into a healthy lifestyle!
