Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

At the moment im feeling like this:

Today i have eaten sooo much food..... I needed study snacks and energy!!

When i was done studying and was just wondering around the house - bored! I decided i would make pancakes! The first batch i made they just turned into mush... they tasted ok, but did not resemble waffles at all. I wanted them crispy!!
So then i decided to make another batch - and experimented with the recipe (oats, milk, egg whites, baking powder, stevia, cottage cheese and salted peanuts  + fried in coconut oil.) Oh my gosh!! They turned out delicious!!! The cottage cheese and salted nuts was what made the taste perfect!!
I made a 'double batch' and ate about half the batch.... plus half of the other waffles that just turned into mush.
My belly hurts :/ But they were so good!!! :) haha

  1. Weirdly I had a waffle today as well - hadn't had waffles in ages :-) yours looks nicer though! J

    1. Haha, those were just the 'good looking' ones :) But i had a plate filled with loads of failed waffles ;)
      Hope you enjoyed the waffles!

  2. I really enjoy when you post about what you eat and food, you make me feel like im not the only one that have trully found the joy of eating after a hard recovery, just makes life wonderfull again!
Keep the posting, for us who reads you everyday :) !

    1. I love food :) And you're definitely not the only one who enjoys food after recoery - true recovery that is to say, and not the food controlling half recovery :)
