Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Carrot cake oatmeal

Carrot cake oatmeal!
Ingredients: 150ml milk, 100ml water, 40g oatmeal, a medium sized (50g) carrot, cinnamon, sweetener, nutmeg
1. In a small pan on the stove bring milk and water to boil.
2. Grate the carrot and mix it with the oatmeal. Then add to the boiling milk/water.
3. Cook on higher heat for about 2 minutes, frequently stirring. Then lower to medium/low heat, add cinnamon, sweetener and a dash of nutmeg and stir once in a while. Take it off the stove once it’s thickened or once you like the consistency. It usually takes about 5 more minutes for me.
4. Top it with whatever you like. I love it with raisins or dried cranberries, apple, banana, yogurt, nuts, granola, coconut shreds, jam, nut butters, …
Enjoy :)
