Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

Thinking about the future

Only 2 more days, and then it will be a completly new year.... it feels crazy. Though i guess just the fact that it is a new year doesnt change so much.
Im not the type of person who needs a new day, new week, new month or even a new year to start on resolutions or making my wishes or dreams come true....
If i decide on something, then i work towards it, whether it is 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon or 11am on a Monday of a new month...

I dont make new years resolutions, as i just dont take them seriously. However, i do set up some goals and dreams and things which id like to come true for the year.
So some of my goals are to start running more often and longer distances, to be able to do the splits and the cartwheel and a handstand by the end of 2014. To run in the 'midnight race'. A dream of mine is to go on a training holiday, to move into my own apartment, to continue helping people - within the nutrition and exercise area.

Today i have also made a collage for the new year, this is something which ive done almost every year for the past few years... its something which my mum made me do several years ago. TO set up goals and dreams. To have a wishlist.
And you know what, its amazing to look at that wish list 6 months later, and realise that a few of those things have actually happened.... ^_^

So that is basically what i have done all day. Tomorrow however i plan to leave the house and actually get things done, and i realise that soon i begin school again, and i havent studied at all (yet i have a test the week i get back) so it might be good to pick up my school books.... haha

Ohhh and yeah, tomorrow is also New Years Eve. And i dont have any plans :/(
Most of my friends are on holiday, or away. So there is no party, and theres not really anyone i can invite over either.... so i guess ill just be spending my evening with my parents -_- and watch the fireworks (i can see them from my house!).
Though i guess i have the rest of my life for better New Years eve's..... :)

How are you spending your New years eve? :)

We're gonna do some of that tin melting and predicting with our family... Isn't it originally a Swedish tradition? Like, you know it, right? Aaand I hope we'll go see the fireworks downtown. But anyhow, not really anything much, yet some a bit refreshing traditions. :)

    2. Yeah, Swedish is a mandatory part of the Finnish educational system; it's our second official language. You don't hear much of it elsewhere but around the capital and in the west coast, though. Most of our food products say the info in Swedish as well, so it is still sort of everywhere :)

Dear Izzy, have yourself an amazing year of 2014! ♥
