Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

Progress photos

Its always nerve-wracking to post progress pictures, but i am very proud of my progress... so i guess its nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about.

^^ Top picture - April 2011 - was at one of my worst stages in anorexia
Bottom picture - August 2012 had just been declared healthy - i.e just reached my goal weight.

^Right picture - Start of 2012 - I was going through my starvation/binge/purge stage of recovery... was really stressed at this time, and still had some demons in my head.
It was when i was just allowed to start exercising again - allowed to go for 40 minute walks a few times a week.

  2. There's no reason for expecting hate comments! There's also no need to feel embarrassed; on the contrary: You should feel proud! You are brave and strong! Look at your progress and what you have achieved! You look so much healthier and happier now! Thus you look even more beautiful than before. :) I really admire you!

  4. It's amazing how far you have come, and how outspoken you are about it. I mean, you inspire a lot of people. You don't have to talk about your anorexia, you could just choose to let that part of your life go, and never bring it up again. But you do talk about it still, and you do it in such a motivating way. You inspire those who are sick to recover (some anyway) and you show that recovery is possible, even when you go through the darkest times. So don't be ashamed or embarrassed, be proud and strong (which you already are!). (:
