Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

List of snacks on the go.

I thought i would make a list of some good snacks which you can take with you/buy when you are on the go :) (You may want to mix and match i.e chose one or two as a snack :) )


  1. Bag of nuts & dried fruit
  2. Fruit
  3. Smoothies
  4. Yoghurt drink
  5. Sandwich
  6. Cereal bars/home made cereal bars
  7. Granola bars
  8. coffee & a pastery
  9. Chocolate/yoghutr covered nuts/raisins
  10. Yoghurt pots (or cottage cheese/quark if you can get those in your country.) (These are good to buy as a snack) & add some nuts
  11. Trail mix
  12. Popcorn
  13. A chocolate bar/ice cream
  14. Fruit salad (if you can buy in a shop/or take with you)
  15. Make your own filling/healthy muffins
  16. Make your own healthy oatmeal cookies!
  17. Apples & pb (though might be hard to take with you!!)
  18. Carrots (though this might be more of a 'mid morning snack' as carrots isnt enough for anyone as an afternoon snack!)
