Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

  1. Great positive thinking :) Sorry to hear that you're sick. I hope you get better soon. :/ It's great that you get time home though! Even if it's only a little bit. I think you'll be able to do what they tell you, with the sitting and all that. And just think how much better things will get if you show them that you CAN do it :) I mean, you sat through a movie yesterday while also eating cinema food. If you could do that, you could definitely do this I think :)

My day.. I pretty much woke up, started working on a huge report, went out to do errands and pick up study materials later in the day. Then came home, practiced piano, did some music theory assignments, practiced flute, did some more on my report, and watched the fourth Harry Potter movie. Pretty average day. Nothing too bad, nothing all that good. My mum and I went to a special really good grocery store which I used to love going to, it has like all really amazing organic foods and stuff. Last time we went there I think I was healthy. So when we were there today I was looking around and wanted absolutely nothing. Made it kind of hard to choose dinner, because she wanted me to pick out what I wanted since I 'love' it so much there. :/ Ended up with some weird potsticker things from Thailand or something.. haha.

Not looking forward to tomorrow though because we're having breakfast with my grandfather, pretty much means I'm going to be expected to have pancakes with syrup no matter what restaurant we go to. Freaking out about it already. Again, haven't had this since I was healthy. :/ And never EVER have breakfast. Even when I was healthy, I didn't eat breakfast (but of course I didn't mind when I had it).

I hope tomorrow goes well for you, hopefully better than today! :) Keep thinking positive!
